Top 10 most expensive cars available on the market today are:

1. Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000. Reaching 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, making it the fastest accelerating car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron top speed of 253 mph makes it the second fastest. 2. Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. Reventon promises to deliver 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and top speed of 211 mph making it the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini has ever built. Only 20 have been produced which are another reason why they are so valuable.

3. McLaren F1 $970,000. Not to be outperformed by today's cars, the McLaren F1 reaches 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and its maximum speed is 240 mph. The McLaren F1 was built in 1994.

4. Ferrari Enzo $670,000. The Enzo can go from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 217 mph. These cars are very famous and are selling for over a million dollars at auctions.


5. Pagani Zonda C12 F $667,321. This Italian car can hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and speeds up to 215 making it the fifth fastest car in the world.

It reaches 60 mph in 2.7 seconds with top speeds at over an amazing 257 mph and can out race the most expensive car in the world despite the fact that it cost nearly half as much. 8. Koenigsegg CCX $545,568. With top speed of over 245 mph the Swedish made Koenigsegg CCX is set on establishing itself as the manufacturer of the fastest car in the world. In fourth place it has an uphill battle to overcome king of the mountain.


9. Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster $495,000. Doing 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 206 mph, makes the SLR McLaren the fastest automatic transmission car available in the world today.


10. Porsche Carrera GT $440,000. Finally, in Tenth Place and nothing to be ashamed of goes to Porsche Carrera GT. Reaching 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and having a top speed of 205 mph, the Carrera GT is known for its dynamic stability control and unprecedented feel for the road.
